Honu Rigid Heddle for Weaving

A rigid heddle is a tool used for weaving.

Our rigid heddle features 53 evenly-spaced slots and holes. As the weaving progresses, the slots and holes are used to lift or lower the warp threads, creating alternate sheds. This creates the warp and weft of fabric and make the shed needed to weave patterns.

At 5" wide by 4.5" tall, this design is small and lightweight enough to be used with a variety of loom types.

Laser cut and engraved with a "honu" sea turtle design, this rigid heddle is available in a variety of different woods.
