Miguel's reproduction of the sprang loom found on the Oseberg ship. A scale model of the original Viking-era loom, this one stands at 30" high; full-scale looms (about 47" high) are also available. The choicest woods for this loom include maple, beech, oak, and ash. Loom comes with a beater sword, tensioning rods, and six shed sticks. The price for the 30" loom is $125. For other sizes, please inquire.
PLEASE NOTE: The full-scale sprang loom cannot be shipped. It's just too big, and costs waaaaaay too much money. Like, more than the loom itself! Please check our event schedule to see when we might be in your area, and contact Miguel if you want to arrange a pick-up.
