Turkish Spindles

(Istanbul, not Constantinople!)

Slightly heavier than our standard spindles. Handmade from exotic hardwoods, these Turks weigh in between 1.5 and 2 oz. When the spun yarn is properly wrapped, these spindles can be disassembled to form a center-pull skein. Available with or without a hook; please specify when ordering. $35; add $5 for ebony.
